ABOUT OUR LIMESTONE COTTAGE
Built in 1850, this beautifully restored cottage was originally a limekiln worker/crofters cottage. The workers would live here and walk the short distance down to the Lime Kiln, at the old pier in Broadford, which still stands today. After this chapter of it's life it sadly became unused and was left empty and exposed to the elements for 27 years. It was scheduled for demolition before someone took on the fantastic project of transforming it into a B&B in 1993.
It still retains original exposed stonewalls & beams to keep the character of the old life once led, and there are many stories told about former owners and their time at the cottage. We are happy to be a chapter in it's life as well as it being a chapter in ours.
We are proud to make you feel at home here, and we want to make sure you have everything you need. Take advantage of what we have to offer to make sure you enjoy your stay, and never hesitate to ask if you've forgotten anything. Enjoy our healthy homemade breakfast, relaxing in our comfortable reading nook, enjoy the view of the sea from our front garden bench, take advantage of our afternoon tea and cake. We have free wifi, TVs in each room, complimentary towels and toiletries to use at your leisure.
WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING
"Absolutely wonderful! The place was exactly what you would want in the Isle of Skye. Anna and Jan were great and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. And the cottage is close to many things. I highly recommend it for your stay."
